please can you tell me at all star moves resort what sort of actives are that adults can do and also are there any life jackets for adults at the pool and how deep is the pool

    Hi Adam,

Both pools at the All Star Movies resort are five feet deep at their deepest point, with most of the pool more shallow than that. Most adults would be able to keep their head above the water throughout the the pool area.

All Star Movies has bins of child size life vests available poolside. Adult vests are not routinely put out. However, they may have some available behind the scenes, or they would certainly be able to borrow one from another resort. Just ask at a lifeguard post or the concierge desk and they should be able to help you out.

There are not many entertainment activities specifically for adults at the All Stars. Of course there is the pool and arcade for anyone to use. There is a poolside bar for adult beverages. Organized activities happen by the pool most afternoons, weather permitting. Some of these are specifically for children, but many allow adult participation as well. These might include trivia games, bingo type games, or physical activities such as a hula hoop contest.

The independent website TouringPlans.com has detailed information about the pools that you may find helpful. Start with the general information (cut/paste the link) and then click on the link at the bottom to get details on the value resort pools. http://blog.touringplans.com/2013/05/01/get-to-know-the-disney-world-pools-part-one/

Additionally, there are plenty of adult activities you can do elsewhere at Disney World without going into the parks. For example, at Downtown Disney you'll find dining, shopping, bowling, movies, and more. If you visit the Boardwalk area there is dancing and a piano bar in the evenings, as well as free strolling performers on most nights.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
