Can you please tell me about the parking options at AKL? Last visit we stayed at CBR and left stroller and extra bay items in the car. Is this a possibility? Is the self parking area near the hotel entrance and bus stop? Thanks!

    Hi Kimberly,

Your family will love Animal Kingdom Lodge, to call it unique and breathtaking is an understatement. The ability to enjoy the animals in such a natural setting is a wonderful bonus to this remarkable resort. We stayed there this past October and had a car with us during our stay.

There is a large lot in front of the resort and across from the entry to the resort and the buses. Although the lot was not near our room, it was easily accessible and within a short walk to the lobby.  We used our car a number of times during our stay and was always able to get to the car quickly by exiting the front of the resort and crossing the entry drive. I am not sure if you will want to store your stroller in the car if you are planning on using it regularly simply because of convenience, but you should be able to get items from your car without much trouble.

Hope you enjoy your stay, if you get the chance be sure to dine at Boma, for a delicious offering of African dishes.
