can you please tell me the locations for the reserved seating for the parade that is included with the 70th Celebration Tour?

    Hiya, Mary!

Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just days away! I hope you are getting ready to Celebrate Happy, the theme of the 70th Anniversary festivities. I just got back from the parks last week, and I am still humming the original song sung by the one and only Jonas Brothers. You will hear it in many forms and iterations throughout your visit - it's so catchy and puts everyone in the best mood to honor 70 years of magic! I guarantee you'll be dancing down Main Street.

Exclusive to this celebration is the new Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour, and I have to say my pixie-dusted ears perked up when you mentioned it! This is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience as you travel through 7 decades of magic and memories, revisiting all that once was and all that is now as we bring Disneyland into this new decade. As part of your tour, you'll get lots of special experiences, but the most coveted may be the reserved viewing area for the Paint the Night Parade. This brilliant and high-energy nighttime spectacular is not to be missed. My planDisney pals and I were together enjoying the 70th last week, and my good friend Q asked your exact question. According to Cast Members in the parks, the viewing area is in the Town Square Plaza directly across from the Disneyland Railroad Train Station at the main entrance. This will provide a wonderful view! I do recommend getting there ahead of time to scope out your spot. You will likely need to check in with a Cast Member stationed along that part of the route, and they will direct you to your specific area. Don't forget that included with your tour is quintessential Disneyland popcorn for you to munch on while you watch the parade!

While we are on the topic of snacks, I highly recommend taking a look through the Disney Parks Foodie Guide for the 70th to see all the new, limited-time offerings. I got to try a few and you will not want to miss the Celebration Matterhorn Macaroon from Jolly Holiday Bakery or the 70th Stuff at Red Rose Tavern which comes with a candied candle so you can make your own wish!

Mary, I hope we've set you up for a magical visit filled with unforgettable memories. Enjoy your guided tour and be sure to make time to sit back and let the magic settle in around you. If you have any more questions or want to talk more about what you can expect at the 70th, feel free to drop us a question at any time. We are always happy to help here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon!
