Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robert! Thank you for trusting us to help answer your Walt Disney World vacation questions.
Bay Cove Pool in
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and
Stormalong Bay at
Disney’s Beach Club Resort are both extraordinary swimming pools and I can see why you would want to make the most of your time in either one. Bay Cove Pool has a 148-foot waterslide, plus a zero depth entry making it the perfect place to spend a day of fun in the sun. You can also enjoy the refreshments of
Cove Bar, a poolside bar offering light bites and cold drinks. Stormalong Bay is a 3-acre wonderland with a lazy river, sand bottom pool, a sandy beach entry, and the tallest hotel water slide in Walt Disney World Resort. Nearby at
Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill, you can cool off with a frozen cocktail or indulge in one of the yummy food options like Barbecue Pork Nachos or Coconut Shrimp. Both of these swimming pool options are an aquatic lover's paradise!
The minimum hours you can expect for both swimming pools are 9 a.m until 8 p.m., but you will often find those hours extended to as much as 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. during busier times. Since both of the dates in which you are inquiring will be during the summer, you can expect the pools to be open from approximately dusk until dawn as a general rule. Hours and lifeguard availability can vary and are subject to change. Your resort will be able to provide you with exact times for all of the pools within the resort upon your arrival.
I hope that this information helps you to plan your next Walt Disney World vacation. Please stop back by if we help answer any more of your vacation questions.
