Could u please tell me which of the following is closest to animal kingdom and which of the 2 you would recommend of Pop Century or the All Star Sports Resort . Previously stayed at Movies and really didnt like the fact they only had 1 bus running . Thanks

    Hi Laurie!

Welcome to the Moms Panel! I'm glad you found us and that we can offer you some advice!

Of the two resorts you mention, All Star Sports and Pop Century, All Star Sports is physically the closest to Animal Kingdom.

We've had the good fortune to stay in both of these resorts and enjoyed our stays at each. Both of the resorts are great options, but our favorite was All Star Sports. Our family particularly enjoyed the sports theme and pool areas here. The Baseball pool with its fountain was my son's favorite!  Another plus for us, is that when buses are shared among the All Star resorts, Sports is the first resort to be picked up and dropped off. This ensured that we nearly always had seats on the bus, and were dropped off first at the end of a long night.

Pop Century also offers a great Disney feel with its over-sized jukebox and characters (like Baloo!). We enjoyed our stay here and would happily stay here again. Pop Century also has its own bus service and does not share with any other resort.

I hope I've given you some ideas that will help you make your decision! Enjoy your trip!
