Can you please tell me which entrance is better for Epcot? Staying at POP and want to do Test Track first. Is it faster to go to the main entrance, w/ construction, or use skyliner? If we were to use Uber, which is the better drop off spot? Thanks!

    Welcome back to planDisney, Janet!

One of the BEST advantages of staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort is the Disney Skyliner! I love being whisked away in my own personal gondola to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Now, the Disney Skyliner will drop you off at the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT, which is about as far away from Test Track as you can get. So, if Test Track is your primary goal, I can see how you would want to take an Uber. I will tell you that taking an Uber may give you a small advantage for rope drop; but Janet, I do have to tell you that I would still recommend taking the Disney Skyliner.

In my experience, the Disney Skyliner begins operating before the parking lots open. So if you are first in line at the International Gateway entrance, you may still be through security and in the park before those people in the parking lot walk from their car.  This is especially true if you have trouble getting an Uber in the morning, or if you are not one of the very first people to park.

If you choose to take the Disney Skyliner, and want to be among the first guests to ride Test Track that day, you will want to leave plenty early to be in the front of the line for the Disney Skyliner. Swing by the station to check their operating hours, which will be posted nearby, but they generally begin an hour before the park opens.

If you do choose to Uber, you will want to be dropped off at the main EPCOT gate.

We hope to hEAR from you soon!
