Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anna! Thank you for visiting us with your question about
The Edison at
Disney Springs!
The Edison was one of the long-awaited dining venues that opened as part of the massive expansion Disney Springs went through a while ago. I would say it can be a family-friendly option for lunch if you want to check out its theming and such, but definitely NOT for dinner. In fact, guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter The Edison after 10:00 PM. and must follow a strict dress code. Men may wear slacks, jeans or dress shorts. However, certain items such as caps, sleeveless shirts or casual shoes such as flip-flops are NOT allowed. You will find a variety of unique acts like contortionists, aerialists, live cabaret, DJs and much more, exclusive for adults, and
delectable offerings for your palate.
I strongly recommend advanced reservations for The Edison, and just like with other popular places, it is best to make those reservations at the 180-day mark when your reservation window opens. Same day bookings or walk-in are not accepted.
If you and your husband would like to visit this restaurant at night, remember that there are Childcare Services available through a verified company, Kids Nite Out. Check out
this link for more detailed information.
Anna, I hope this helps a bit and please remember we are here for any other question you may have as you continue to plan your vacation to
Walt Disney World!
