Hello Lara,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us your great question, and I love that you are a visual, hands-on Disney planner. Sometimes a printed map to comb over just hits different than looking at a digital screen. So allow me to share some map options... you've got a friend in me!
Spring in California should be quite lovely weather, and hopefully you've got time to enjoy the magic at both Disney Parks. First, to find an online responsive map that is fun to explore go to
Disneyland Destinations, then on the right side map click "Expand Map" for a larger display. This is one nice alternative as it gives a dynamic, flying-Dumbo view of the entire resort! My kids enjoy being able to zoom in/out, or just hand pan around the map to get a sense of the park layout.
To print a map at home, guests can access and downland a PDF file of the actual Guide Maps: find one for
Disneyland here, and one for
Disney California Adventure here. Oh, boy... I'm getting excited just looking at those! They deliver the same happy vibes as when you step into the "Happiest Place on Earth" and grab yourself a guide map in person.
Lisa, I highly recommend you make sure to
download the Disneyland app and have it ready to use during your visit. It can help you navigate during your park day, keep an eye on queue wait times, and even
mobile order food to save yourself some time.
One last tip before I go... the newly reimagined
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a delight, and a must-do. This wonderful attraction combines music, a whimsical story with animatronic bayou critters, and a thrilling log ride for a trifecta Disney experience!
Enjoy those printed maps! Please visit us again at planDisney with any additional questions you may have, we love to help with planning your Best. Trip. Ever.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Tami
