Hi Brenda!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are a family of seven, so I know how important it is to make sure that the "extra" beds are comfortable. Everyone needs a fantastic sleep to have the energy for all the fun in the Parks!
Disney's Beach Club Resort has hands down my kiddos' (and everyone else's) favorite pool on
Walt Disney World Resort property! Between
Stormalong Bay's fantastic slide and the sand-bottomed pool, we have a hard time leaving the Resort. The
daybeds measure 29" x 67" long, which is slightly smaller than a standard twin mattress measuring 38" by 75". We are short-stacks in our family, so our
tweens are able to sleep on the bed comfortably, but if you have an adult or lanky teenager, it might be a bit snug!
I think one of the few pools that can compete with
Stormalong Bay is at
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. With its
142-foot long slide, the Lava Pool is the ultimate tropical modern escape, and if you have littles joining you, Kiki Tiki's Splash Play area is a must-do! The
Murphy (pull-down) bed in the Villas is 30" by 73" making it slightly larger than the daybed at
Disney's Beach Club Villas, but still smaller than a twin. Now, if you have someone taller, consider booking a standard room which comes with two queen beds and a pullout sofa bed, which may be more comfortable than the Murphy.
Brenda, I've attached the video that shows the Murphy bed at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. I hope the visual helps! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back.
