Hello Can you please tell me when the chocolate Easter Egg display goes up in the Grand Floridian and Beach Club? Thanks

    Hoppy Spring, Sandra!

It sounds like you are visiting during one of my most favorite times of yEAR! Second only to Christmas, Easter is my favorite holiday, and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate than at Walt Disney World Resort! What is not to love about Spring and renewal with a few candy eggs thrown in?

Once again, the Resorts promise to deliver gorgeous Easter eggs with a Disney twist. Mickey and the Gang have not announced when they will be up yet, but based on yEARs past, I think it should be very soon! This yEAR, Easter is the 12th of April, while last yEAR it was on the 21st. The eggs were on display starting a few weeks before the holiday and continued for about a week afterward. Based on that, we should see the sp-egg-tacular show bouncing in soon! Disney Parks Blog will be the first place to announce the arrival of the eggs, so keep an EAR out!

The Resorts are renowned for their Easter-related displays. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa hosts a gorgeous Easter Egg display, last yEAR there were eggs based on themes from Wreck-it Ralph (the colors were beautiful!) to The Lion King (which was my favorite!). Disney’s Beach Club Resort had an egg-cellent chocolate Easter Egg display that included a classically beautiful purple egg with superimposed “lace” icing and a Stitch egg that was so lifelike; I swore it was a plush doll!

Sandra, I wish you an egg-cellent adventure in your Easter egg hunt!
