Hello! Can you please tell me the advantage of staying at the Beach Club resort vs. Yacht Club resort? Or do you feel as if you are staying at both hotels?

    Hi Barbara,

The Yacht and Beach Club resorts are very similar. The rooms are the same size and they share many of the same amenties: pool, salon, health club, arcade, some transportation, and some restaurants. I very much think of them as two halves of the same resort.

However, given all that, my family strongly prefers to stay at the Beach Club. The reason for this is that the Beach Club is closer to Epcot. We plan many of our evening meals at Epcot and staying at the Beach Club saves us a few minutes of walking time each way, each day. With tired kids (and their tired mom) those few minutes end up being important to us. Also, since the Beach Club is the site of the Beach Club villas, this means that the gift shop at the Beach Club is better stocked with a wider range of foods. Of course, Yacht Club guests are welcome to shop their as well.

Overall, the differences are minimal. Choose either and you'll have a great experience.
