Hi Moms! Please set me straight. On the dining plan, do snacks, quick meals, and table service use one credit and character meals and dinner shows use two credits per person? We won't go to any high end fancy places.

There are actually very few dining experiences at WDW that use two dining plan credits. If you click here, you'll be taken to a downloadable PDF brochure about the Disney Dining Plan. It gives a comprehensive list of places where the Dining Plan can be used and also notes which restaurants require you to use two credits.

The meals at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom and Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness are the only character dining experiences that require two credits. All other character meals take only one credit.

The other two-credit meals are at Disney's gourmet signature restaurants. These include: Jiko, Flying Fish, California Grill, Citricos, Narcoossee's, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and the Hollywood Brown Derby. Additionally, the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and Spirit of Aloha dinner shows also require two dining plan credits.

Snacks always require one snack credit and quick service meals always require one quick service credit.

Have a great time enjoying all the wonderful food at WDW!
