Hi Deborah,
How exciting to hear that you're planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth during the
50th anniversary celebration! You'll get to enjoy the EARidescent extravaganza along with some classic
fall favorites like the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and all kinds of Halloween fun!
While Disney no longer mails informational packets to Guests, I'd be happy to help you find all the tools you'll need to turn your Disney dreams into reality! I'd start by checking out the
Tomorrow is Just a Dream Away page. With an inspiring video and all sorts of helpful information, it will be a great home base as you're beginning to put together the pieces of your trip. I'd also recommend watching some of the helpful
videos featured on planDisney's website. That will give you a great overview of the four different theme parks and all that goes into planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. In addition, I think you'll find this handy dandy
ticket guide to be quite helpful, and I'd also suggest checking out the
Know Before You Go pages so you're well-prepared for your visit.
Now, if you're like me and prefer having something physical in hand where you can circle and highlight and mark up to your heart's content, I'm happy to let you know that the same maps they pass out in the theme parks are available to print from Disney's website. You'll find them on each individual theme park page (
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park) underneath the blue header on the left-hand side. Just click on each park's respective Guide Map and explore away! If you want to know more, you'll find information about
attractions,
entertainment, and
dining online, too.
I hope this helps get you started on the right foot, Deborah. Please don't hesitate to come back and see us with any other questions you may have along the way. I hope you have a truly magical vacation this fall!
Missy
