Hi Nikki,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sending us your great question about Theme Park Tickets. I am so sorry to hear that you have been unable to return to
Disneyland Resort as of yet, being from Canada myself, I completely understand the restrictions that have been implemented around border crossing.
Theme Park Tickets are non-refundable, but given that the borders are still restricted, you may want to
call and speak with a Cast Member. I would explain your situation and they may be able to help given your extenuating circumstances. While it is not guaranteed, it is worth a try.
Even though Theme Park Tickets have an expiry date, you will be able to use the value of your Theme Park Tickets toward the purchase of new Theme Park Tickets when the time comes for you to travel again. Personally, I would hold on to your Theme Park Tickets since the exchange rate is good right now, this way when you are ready to visit, a significant part of the cost is already taken care of. I like having something to look forward to, even if you don't have a date, knowing you have the value of your Theme Park Tickets ready to go still is a reminder that you will be back in the magic as soon as possible.
Sending extra Pixie Dust your way in hope that you will be back at Disneyland Resort sooner rather than later, Nikki. If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us again here at
planDisney, we are always glad to help.
