Please make recommendations for nice dinner dining at Disneyland.

    Welcome to planDisney Bill!

You have come to the right place to discuss all of the delicious dining options throughout the Disneyland Resort!  I highly recommend making a dining reservation prior to your trip, and even if you do not see your desired reservation, I encourage you to keep checking all the way up until your trip.  Plans change for Guests all the time, and reservations can open up at the last minute!

Let's start with Disneyland Park, I highly recommend either Blue Bayou Restaurant or Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square.  Blue Bayou Restaurant is our favorite place to dine, you truly cannot beat the ambiance of the Pirates of the Caribbean boats floating by while you enjoy your delicious meal.  Both restaurants offer delectable dinner options with Cajun-Creole flavors such as the Oscar-style Filet Mignon at Blue Bayou Restaurant, or the famous Monte Cristo sandwich or Chicken Gumbo at Cafe Orleans!

Heading over to Disney California Adventure Park, we always try to dine at Lamplight Lounge in Pixar Pier each trip.  Their dishes never disappoint such as the Lobster Nachos or Cheddar Burger, and if you're able to sit outside, you'll get to enjoy beautiful views of Pixar Pier.  It's especially magical at nighttime when the lights start to come on!

Don't sleep on the Downtown Disney District for more amazing dining options, I'm excited to try Din Tai Fung and their perfectly seasoned dishes such as the Xiao Long Bao and their Steamed Dumplings during my next visit.  If you love the flavors of Mexico, Paseo should also be on your list to try!  It's one of the newest additions to the Downtown Disney District, and Chef Carlos Gaytán's meals never disappoint.

My final recommendation is to explore Napa Rose located at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, where you'll enjoy a meal as if you were dining in wine country!  Napa Rose is known for its amazing and extensive wine list, as well as upscale California cuisine that celebrates both local and international ingredients.  It truly is an exquisite dining experience!

I hope these recommendations are helpful and have made you hungry, Bill!  If we can help with any other questions as your plans come together, please come back and ask!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
