Dolores,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
I love to have paper maps when I plan things out. It makes it easier for me to get an idea of what is where, and how I should plan out my days.
You can get PDFs of the official, current park maps directly from the Walt Disney World website. Unfortunately, they do not also offer maps of the resort properties, though you can often find them by just searching online. Lots of past guests have posted images of them on websites.
While the interactive resort map on the website is fantastic for getting a feel for where everything can be found across all of Walt Disney World, I prefer something printed in hand. The printable versions of the actual in-park maps for the
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park can be found by clicking on the guide map link at the bottom of the respective web pages for each park. You will find that link directly below that interactive map, down at the very end of the principal web page of each park. Note that the
"Map" icon at the top of the page just jumps you down lower on that same page and does not actually open a PDF of a park map. So just keep scrolling, and you will find the right link.
BONUS TIP #1Printable maps are also available for
Disney Springs, and the two
water parks, Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Even a map for the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is available.
BONUS TIP #2If you grab the PDFs and then print them out right away, the maps will be hard to read as the scale of the map is not ideal for a standard sheet of paper. I recommend downloading the file and doing some quick cropping to get the map to a larger format for easier reading. It may require you to print out the legend on a separate page, but it will make your use of the maps far easier.
Write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
