Hi Idaly! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
I took both my boys on their first visit to the parks prior to their first birthdays, and we had the most magical time. Just wait until you see their little faces filled with wonder at all the lights and sounds. It'll be a trip you'll never forget! Be sure to take advantage of all
Disney's PhotoPass Service photo locations you can to preserve those memories. If you're purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass to spend less time in queues, photo downloads are complimentary, which is a real value.
I have good news for you: All Attractions without a
height requirement can accommodate your family, including your baby. You'll find this is the vast majority of Attractions! So, you will have plenty to enjoy during your stay, along with Entertainment, Parades, and Fireworks, which are suitable for all Guests. With my eldest, we simply held him on our laps on Attractions. My youngest preferred to be in a carrier. This is acceptable on most Attractions, but a Cast Member will let you know if you need to remove your baby from its carrier or sit forward during the ride. They're always keeping your safety in mind!
You might find that some Attractions are too stimulating. If you want to find out more details about lights and sounds that could potentially startle your little one, I suggest taking a look at the
Sensory Experience Details guide. My eldest loved all Attractions and Character interactions, but my youngest didn't appreciate being plunged into darkness, for example. Be ready to adapt your plan for the day if you find your little one has a clear preference.
Also, locate the
Baby Care Center in the park you're visiting on the Disneyland mobile app's map. These locations are the perfect place to change and feed your baby. You'll find they're quiet and clean. Plus, they stock items for purchase you might find yourself needing, which is helpful when you're packing an already full diaper bag.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
