Hi Ozemoya, and welcome to planDisney. You’ll be visiting Disney World during my favorite time of the year, when the theme parks and resort hotels are covered in sparkling holiday decorations!
It sounds like your kids are interested in exploring
Cinderella Castle, the beautiful palace that sits in the center of
Magic Kingdom. But if you’re looking for something different, don’t hesitate to submit another question so we can get you the information you need!
Currently, there aren’t any tours of Cinderella Castle, but I have a few other suggestions so your kids can get immersed in the magic. There are two experiences that take place right inside of Cinderella Castle—getting a pixie-dusted makeover at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and enjoying a meal at
Cinderella’s Royal Table.
At Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you’ll check in at a building next to the castle, but then one of Fairy Godmother’s apprentices will take your little ones inside the castle to be transformed into princesses and knights!
Once your kids are done with their magical experience, it’ll be a great time to feast together with the whole family at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Eating inside the castle is such a special experience with delicious food and impressive stained glass windows looking out into Fantasyland. You’ll even get to meet Cinderella and her princess friends!
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Cinderella’s Royal Table need to be booked separately, and I recommend making your reservations for these popular experiences as soon as your booking window opens.
Disney Resort hotel guests can make reservations for dining and
Enchanting Extras activities starting
60 days ahead of check-in for their entire length of stay (up to 10 nights). All other guests can make reservations 60 days in advance.
If you’d rather not make any reservations, you can still explore part of Cinderella Castle without doing any Enchanting Extras activities or table service meals! As you walk from Main Street, U.S.A. and up the ramps on either side of the castle, you can go inside the tunnel to look at mosaics depicting scenes from Cinderella’s story. On the other side of the castle, look for
Sir Mickey’s store, where your kids might be able to get a complimentary pixie dusting in their hair! Just ask a Cast Member if they have any pixie dust to share that day.
Safe travels to Disney World this December, and I hope your family has an absolutely magical visit! If you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
