Please help! Visiting AK with hrs from 9-7 that day. Want to eat breakfast at Tusker House. Is it best to make early ADR & then tour the park, or start touring at 9 and then take a break for a late b-fast? Don't want to run out of time to see all.

Don't worry, with a full day available, you should be able to see most of what you want to at the Animal Kingdom.

As far as breakfast goes, I would try to get the first seating at Tusker House, this is almost always BEFORE park opening time. If the park opens at 9:00, often they will start breakfast seatings at 8:00 or 8:05. You should get to the park about 30 minutes before your scheduled meal time and there will be a special entrance line for guests with early character meal reservations. Character meals generally take about an hour. So, if you get the first reservation, you'll be finishing up your meal just as the park opens. The good news is that Tusker House is just steps away from the Kilimanjaro Safari which, in my opinion, is best experienced first thing in the morning. You should be able to get on one of the first Safaris.

If you can't get a breakfast reservation prior to park opening time, then I would go with plan B -- breakfast for lunch. By this I mean -- just grab a quick muffin or something first thing in the morning so you don't starve to death. Then do some park touring (Safari, Everest) and have breakfast at one of the last seatings (10:30 ish) and basically make this serve as lunch too so your park touring is not further interrupted.

Again, with either plan, I think you'll be able to work in most of the AK in a full tour day.  Have a great trip!
