Thanks for stopping by planDisney Nicole. As one of the physicians on the panel, I had to grab your question. Hopefully, I can help you navigate your visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth.
Your daughter is free to bring her knee scooter with her to the parks.
Mobility devices are available for rent if she doesn't want to travel to Disneyland with her scooter. ECVs and wheelchairs can be rented on a first-come, first-served basis at the Stroller Shop, which is outside the parks to the right of the Disneyland Park main entrance. The shop opens an hour before park entry, and I would arrive early to make sure you can rent the device she needs.
Once you are in the parks, this
guide should come in handy. It outlines
accessible amenities and how your daughter can be safe and comfortable in the parks. She is welcome to bring her scooter in
the queues and keep it until boarding. The Cast Members will then store it while you all enjoy the attraction and have it waiting for her when you disembark.
If your daughter needs medical assistance, nurses are available during normal park hours at the
First Aid Centers in Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure. If she cannot get to one of the First Aid Centers, alert a Cast Member, and they will be happy to get medical assistance for her. One last suggestion to make the days smoother is to consider purchasing
Lightning Lane passes for both of you. The pass allows you to skip the conventional queue and return at a specific time, so your time in line is shorter, giving your daughter a bit of a rest.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back to us. I wish you a magical mother-daughter trip!
