Can you please help?! I read something about a store in DTD that makes art out of people's handprints (I think that's what it said). Can you tell me what this is and where to find it? Also, do we pay the taxes on the food ordered on the dining plan? Thanks

    Hi Tana,

I know the store you are talking about. It is called Hand Art Memories. It is a little outdoor stand near Pooh's Corner and Disney's Pin Traders in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. I noticed this cute little stand when I was there in December. It takes your hand print and turns it into art work. I am not sure how long it takes but the shopping is fun at Downtown Disney.

There is Ghiradelli Ice Cream and Soda shop nearby as well as Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck's Express. Also, Mickey's Food Pantry add a whole new section with spices and teas which make homemade cooking so much easier.

As for the Disney Dining Plan, the taxes are already taken into account when you paid for the plan. You will have to pay the gratuity unless you are a party of six or more and then the 18 percent has been added to the bill.

    Have a magical vacation!
