Ahoy Lissette!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Are you bursting with excitement? Your high seas adventure with your little one is just a week away! I am so thrilled for you to experience
all of the magic included when you sail with Captain Mickey next week.
When my pirates were little, I cruised both with and without a stroller. If your pirate-in-training is walking, you can get by without a stroller onboard since everything is so close. It is nice to have a stroller with you for
Port Adventures or if you plan to debark the ship while in port to explore. I found that a small, folding umbrella stroller was a perfect solution when traveling with the under three crowd as it was easy to travel with, can be stored under the bed in your stateroom and can navigate the ship's hallways. There are paved walkways throughout
Castaway Cay as well, so exploring the island with a stroller is easy.
Disney Cruise Line also has a limited number of three wheeled, single jogging
strollers for use during your sailing. Strollers are available on a first come, first serve basis and require a deposit, which will be refunded to you when you return the stroller at the end of your sailing.
Be sure to reserve some time in the
"it's a small world" nursery for your little one so that you can enjoy the amazing adult exclusive areas of the ship like the
Quiet Cove Pool or
Senses Spa and Salon. For a quick getaway in the spa, you can purchase a
Rainforest Room pass which gives you the flexibility to visit the spa whenever your little one allows!
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail next week!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
