Please explain/describe the possible floor plans for a 2 BR @ AK. We have 3 boys, so wondering about bed options. Also, what is the dif between 2 br savannah view and 2 br killimanjaro concierge service? So many questions, THANK YOU, love the panel!

    Hi Mindy,

When you say "two bedroom at Animal Kingdom," I assume you mean a two bedroom villa-style room. My family stayed in a two-bedroom villa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge over Christmas 2010. Those rooms are HUGE. My family of five had plenty of room to spare.

The bed situation is this: There is a master bedroom equipped with one king-sized bed. There is a second bedroom equipped with two queen-sized beds. The spacious living room is equipped with a queen-sized pull-out sofa AND a twin-sized pull-out sleeper chair. This gives you five distinct sleep surfaces in the room.

A two-bedroom villa with a savanna view will ensure that your room faces out onto the animal roaming areas at the Lodge (as opposed to, say, facing a parking lot). When I've stayed in a savanna room, I've been able see giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and many other exotic species right outside my window.

The concierge level gives you all this PLUS access to the concierge lounge and concierge service. The concierge lounge is stocked with food and beverages throughout the day. Pastries in the morning. Small sandwiches in the afternoon. Snack foods. Even beer and wine in the evenings. This is all included with your room. Concierge guests can also get assistance with meal, tour, and transportation arrangements provided by expert staff. It's a top-of-the-line experience!

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if you have additional questions.
