Could you please explain woodlands view vs water view at Disney Hilton Head? Thank you

    Hi Linda!

Welcome back! Now that we’ve got your dining plans started for Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, I would be happy to talk about the views from your room!

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is tucked away in Shelter Cove Harbor on Hilton Head Island. With its large trees and lush vegetation, you will see green everywhere you look! One side of the resort is bordered by the harbor, and the other side looks onto a beautiful dock usually chock full of gorgeous boats. Depending on your accommodations, you view water, woods or both! Regardless, the view is fantastic!

When we stayed in one of the Villas, the front windows looked out on greenery and right past that was the boat docks. Our back windows and porch overlooked the prettiest courtyard filled with trees, hammocks and corn hole! Every morning, my kids would beg to go out and swing in the hammocks. They also made some great friends in that courtyard as it became the “neighborhood playground” during our week’s stay.

The benefit of this petite resort is that it is within walking distance of great restaurants and entertainment. The Greek restaurant across the dock became our go-to place for food! Also, while the island is 10 miles long, it is bicycle friendly. Our “neighbors” would take the resort bikes to the Beach House every day.

I hope this helps build excitement for your upcoming trip! If you have any other questions, you know where to find us!
