Hiya Tamaree!
I am so glad that you stopped by with this question. A few things have changed since the grand re-opening of Walt Disney World Resort and I am happy to help walk you through the
updates.
As you know, face coverings are required at all times while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. The policy states that you may use either reusable or disposable face coverings as long as they:
- Are made of at least 2 layers of material (these layers do NOT have to be two separate masks)
- Fit snugly against the side of the face while also fully covering the nose and mouth
- Be secured with ear loops or ties
Tamaree, please note that neck gaiters, bandanas, or face coverings with valves or made of mesh are not allowed.
You are able to remove your mask when you are stationary, away from others, and actively eating or drinking.
You may also notice
a few other changes throughout Walt Disney World Resort such as physical distancing markers in queues, temperature screening to enter the parks, enhanced cleaning, and limited capacity through the
Disney Park Pass system.
I hope that this answered your question, Tamaree. Please come back here to planDisney if we can help as you plan your magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
See you real soon!
Sarah B.
