Can you please explain how the dining works, 1 st timers.Do we have to do the rotation? 3 night Dream 10/2017 i see there are other options to dine, are these included in price or do we pay for these? not signature ones. What beverages are included?pop? :)

Welcome back, Stacey! As a first time cruiser with Disney, there is so much excitement coming your way! During Rotational Dining, you'll be assigned a different restaurant each night. But, the fun thing is that your dining service team will come with you each night, so you'll have different restaurants, but the same servers who will get to know your preferences, and will have lots of magic in store for you! My kids love getting to know our servers. We sometimes have some tearful goodbyes the last day, as they have become like family to us! Should you choose to skip your dinner in your assigned restaurant, that's fine! Just order complimentary Room Service, eat at Cabanas or one of the Quick Service Spots by the pool, all included in the cruise cost.

Soft drinks, teas, coffee, and juices are included at the restaurants and at the 24-hour self service beverage stations on the pool deck. If you drink a lot of soda, you may want to bring your own travel cup to refill throughout the day and keep with you. Sodas carry an extra fee only if you order them in the bars and lounges. Alcoholic beverages cost extra as do some specialty beverages like smoothies, specialty coffees, and drinks of the day. And my kids love the soft serve ice cream station on the pool deck and at Castaway Cay! It's complimentary and the flavors switch daily! Free ice cream = happy kids!

As you are packing, don't forget to toss in some pirate gear to wear on Pirate Night. Guests go all out with pirate accessories and costumes that night. Of course, they're for sale onboard, but you can bring your own gear from home too. All guests will receive a Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana to wear that night.

Stop back, Stacey, if you have other questions! We're happy to help!
