Erin from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can you please explain the different types of poolside cabanas, daybeds and pods at Disneyland hotel a bit more? Including the new offerings by the Discovery tower pool?

Welcome to planDisney, Erin. A day lounging at the pools at the Disneyland Hotel sounds like a great way to relax and recharge. Let's dive into the different options for poolside rentals.

Some of the biggest differences between the various rental options include how many people they can accommodate and what type of amenities are included. All rentals are available for either a half-day or full-day of fun at the pool, and a poolside concierge Cast Member is available to assist throughout your stay.

For the ultimate experience in poolside relaxation, you may consider booking a cabana. At the Disneyland Hotel, the Regular Cabanas can accommodate 6 guests and are located at the E-Ticket Pool, while the larger Family Cabanas can fit 8 guests and are located at the Monorail Pool. Cabana rentals at the Disneyland Hotel include:

    • 2 chaise lounge chairs and a love seat
    • Coffee table
    • Sofa
    • LCD television with cable access
    • Ceiling fan (not available at Pixar Place Hotel)
    • Safe and clock radio
    • Telephone for internal Resort calls
    • Mini refrigerator with 6 complimentary water bottles
    • Complimentary fruit platter
    • Towel service
Daybeds are only available at the Palette Pool and Steamboat Willie Splash Area at the Discovery Tower. These can accommodate up to 4 guests and offer shade, daybed seating, 4 complimentary water bottles and towel service.

For even smaller parties, you can rent a Pod, which has a capacity for a maximum of two guests. With a pod, you'll enjoy seating with a rounded cushion and umbrella, 2 complimentary water bottles, and towel service.

To book your relaxing retreat, you can call (714) 635-2300 and select option “9,” or you can visit the Guest Services Desk inside the hotel.

Erin, I hope that the information I shared is helpful as you're planning your fun day at the pools. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Here's wishing you fun in the sun and a relaxing day at the pool.
