Hey there, Colleen!
I'm so happy to welcome you back to planDisney! It truly means so much that you've chosen to return and continue to rely on us as a trusted resource when planning your Disney vacations. We love being part of your planning process and helping you get ready to make even more magical memories!
At this time, there hasn't been any announcement about when the
Garden View Tea Room at
Disney's Grand Floridian will reopen. While that's certainly a bit of a Bibbidi Bobbidi bummer, I do have some alternative experiences you may enjoy!
Currently,
The Cake Bake Shop is offering the
Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea, which sounds like an absolutely enchanting way to enjoy a special treat. In fact, it's high on my must-do list! In addition, based on the timing of your visit, there's a good chance that the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom. During the festival, you can take part in the Twinings English Garden Tea Tour located at
The Tea Caddy in the United Kingdom pavilion. This charming experience explores the history of tea and how it's made. You have the option of choosing either a guided version or a self-guided tour at your own pace.
While you're at EPCOT, don't miss stopping by the
Joy of Tea in the China pavilion. This delightful little kiosk offers a unique menu of specialty teas and beverages...perfect if you'd like to sip something while strolling around World Showcase.
And as a final tip, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. If there's ever news about the Garden View Tea Room reopening, that's usually the first place it will be announced.
Colleen, I hope these tips help make your planning practically
tea-riffic!
If any more curious questions pop up along your planning journey, don't be late for a very important date...just hop back over to planDisney and we'll be delighted to help again!
Magic Awaits,
Kami
