Hi Michele,
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question! It sounds like you're in the earliest stages of planning your Disney vacation, and we'd love to help you turn your wishes into dreams come true!
Generally speaking, you'll find the lowest crowd levels to be during times when the majority of American schools are in session. Summer vacation, fall break, Christmas break, and spring break tend to be the peak Disney travel seasons, but if you have the freedom to travel in January, February, May, September, November, or early December, you will find those to be less popular times to visit. Although, with that said, gobs of Disney fans are anxiously awaiting the opening of the all new
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios later this fall, so November and December will likely be more popular than normal! A
new ticketing system was rolled out last fall and one thing that I love about it is that ticket prices vary based on dates. The lower the ticket price, the smaller they're expecting the crowd level to be, so feel free to
play around with different dates and options to find the perfect time for
your vacation!
No matter when you decide to visit, Michele, you'll find the Walt Disney World Resort to be the most magical place on earth
every day of the year with
various special events happening all year long! I'm really excited for you to be able to experience it, and please come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
