Hi Jacqueline and welcome to planDisney!
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, one of my Disney Vacation Club home resorts, is a sprawling resort with miles of trails, a golf course, several pools, and many other amenities. Its relaxed atmosphere and quaint theming can provide that necessary break from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. But one of my favorite things about the resort is its proximity to
Disney Springs, steps away from some of my favorite dining options and shops to pick up some last minute souvenirs!
Jacqueline, you asked about one of the
playgrounds at Saratoga Springs, specifically one closest to Disney Springs. As
my fellow panelist has noted, playgrounds at Walt Disney World Resorts are also open to those not staying at those given hotels. However, Walt Disney World does require adult supervision for those kids enjoying the playgrounds. Jacqueline, you are correct that certain resort amenities, such as swimming pools and health clubs, may only be used by guests of those Resort hotels.
Speaking of resort amenities, here’s some of my favorite amenities at Saratoga Springs. First, is the
Community Hall. This amenity is great for providing both free and paid recreation and activities for little ones. My daughters love picking up sheets of coloring paper or doing one of the many arts and crafts activities the Community Halls offer. Another amenity my family loves is the
surrey bike rental. As I mentioned before, Saratoga Springs has miles of trails which makes for a great way to see all the resort has to offer!
