Can I play for a disneyland vip tour with a disney gift card?

Welcome to planDisney, Shelby! Your magical getaway to the Disneyland Resort is almost here, and I’d be glad to help you put those finishing touches on your plans. Choosing a VIP Tour is an incredible way to make the most of your visit. It’s like adding an extra sprinkling of pixie dust to every step of your Disney Day.

With a VIP Tour Guide, you’ll enjoy a customized experience across both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. These guides act as your personal Disney experts, offering not only priority access to your favorite attractions but also fascinating behind-the-scenes stories and that signature Disney hospitality we all love. I connected with Amalie, a knowledgeable VIP Tour Cast Member, who confirmed that while a credit card must be placed on file when booking, you can use up to five Disney Gift Cards to pay for your tour. This gives you flexibility in how you’d like to cover the cost, which is always a plus when planning a dream visit.

My fellow panelist Carrie raved about her own VIP Tour experience, noting that the little-known details and “hidden gems” shared by her guide were among the highlights of her trip. A few other things to keep in mind: admission to the parks (including Park Hopper tickets) is separate from the VIP Tour price. Once your tour is confirmed, however, your park reservations will be taken care of automatically. Because your adventure will include plenty of walking, comfortable shoes are a must. If your group could use a stroller or wheelchair, your guide can assist with those arrangements at the start of the day.

One of the many perks of a VIP Tour is reserved seating for parades and nighttime spectaculars. If you’re visiting during Halloween Time, you’ll be in for some especially enchanting treats. On select nights in October, Halloween Screams fills the skies with fireworks, and the sight of Zero gliding above Sleeping Beauty Castle is both haunting and heartwarming. And don’t miss the dazzling return of the “Paint the Night” parade! I was there for its reopening on May 16, and the energy from the glowing floats and the crowd singing along was pure Disney magic.

Shelby, if any other questions pop up about your upcoming tour, we’d love to see you back here at planDisney. We’re always happy to help.

    See you real soon,
    David
