Bright suns, Sandra!
After making great memories during your visit to the
Outer Rim of a galaxy far, far away, you can continue the fun with your custom astromech droid units at home without looking over your shoulder to check for
First Order officers watching your every move.
After transporting your custom astromech droid units from
Droid Depot home, you can continue to use the included handheld remote control to command droid movements and sounds as well as activating optional accessories that may also be compatible. When multiple droid units detect each other nearby, they may also “talk” to each other. Droids with optional personality-affiliation chips installed may even interact with each other according to their respective personalities.
To enhance the experience with your droid units even more, consider downloading the
Droid Depot mobile app to your compatible mobile device. You can interact with your astromech units at a whole new level, including jamming tunes you may have heard playing in
Oga’s Cantina and
programming your droids to maneuver through courses of your own choosing.
Tara’s Tip: My
planDisney pal Tara discovered that her children’s droid units would go to sleep when left inactive for a while and provided
tips for waking them when desired. You may also want to follow her tips for locating and operating the power switch on your droid units to power them off to conserve their batteries. My family, ahem, learned that our droids would occasionally wake at unexpected times and “chat” with each other, often at times that would surprise us while we were also sleeping. So we wish we had learned Tara’s tip sooner!
I hope you have many hours of fun with your custom astromech units, Sandra. If there is anything else we can help with here at planDisney, I hope we will hear from you again soon.
May the Force be with you,
~Tony
