Welcome to planDisney, Nicholas! What a fun question, and one that a lot of people are starting to ask right about now.
While we don't have the full scoop just yet, what we can say is that yes, Walt Disney World usually goes big for New Year's Eve, and there are typically celebrations at both
Magic Kingdom and
EPCOT. That said, Disney hasn't officially announced the plans for New Year's Eve 2025 just yet. The good news is, we can look to past years for a pretty good idea of what to expect, but we won't have anything confirmed until those details are shared on the
Disney Parks Blog, likely sometime this December.
In past years, Magic Kingdom has hosted a special version of their "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks on both December 30th and December 31st, which is perfect for anyone who wants to ring in the new year a night early to beat the crowds, or head to another park on the 31st. Over at EPCOT, they've been known to throw a party that's more of a global celebration, with music and dance parties in different World Showcase pavilions and a countdown fireworks show that is beyond impressive. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom tend to be a little quieter for New Year's Eve, but they'll still offer festive touches.
So while we're all still waiting on the official word for this year's celebrations, I feel pretty confident saying that there will be something fun happening. It's always a good idea to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or the official Walt Disney World website for the announcement, which typically comes toward the end of the year. Until then, it's totally okay to start daydreaming about what park you want to be in when the clock strikes midnight!
Have a magical day, Nicholas!
