How to use my plans on the Disney app

Hello, Laurie, and welcome to planDisney! It looks like you might be smack in the middle of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let's jump right in to how the My Disney Experience mobile app can magically maximize your time.

First of all, the Fairy Godparents behind the app added some pixie dust this week to make it even more helpful. But as a result, some of my pals have reported a few pesky glitches. So, I recommend making sure you have the latest version of the app and possibly trying the ol' uninstall/reinstall trick. You can also call the App and MagicBand Support line anytime if you suspect your app isn't working properly.

I'm wishing on a star that your mobile app is chugging along just fine, so now let's look at how the My Plans section can help you in the parks.

First, you can access the My Plans screen a couple of ways, but I like to tap the three lines in the bottom right to start from the Welcome page. Under the My Visit section, you should see My Plans. Click that to be taken to a list of any plans you have booked for today. You'll see things like your theme park reservation, any Lightning Lane Passes you've booked, dining reservations, and more. It's listed chronologically, so you know exactly where to head next!

If you're in search of future plans, Hakuna Matata! Swipe through the dates at the top of the My Plans screen to see your itinerary for upcoming days. It's like having Madame Leota's crystal ball at your fingertips!

The best part is that you can tap on most plans to see more details, such as other guests who are included. This is also where you can modify or cancel any eligible reservations.

I hope you're able to board Big Thunder Mountain Railroad while you're here. This runaway train recently reopened with an enhanced track and exciting new scenes. I haven't ridden it yet, but I've heard to be on the lookout for bats...lots of bats!

Laurie, I hope I've helped straighten out your mobile app issues. Feel free to come back if you need additional information. planDisney is always a click away!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
