Hi, We are planniong our first vacation in Late October / early November 2013 and would like to know the average daily temperatures? We really want to use the water parks, but avoid the summer heat. Thank you!

Hi, Martha! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Congratulations on planning your first vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! I'm so happy you chose to visit in the fall season, one of the absolute best times to vacation at Disney World! The weather really is ideal in October and November - you'll enjoy more mild temperatures, lower humidity levels and far less chance of rain!

The average daily temperatures for the months of October and November are 75 degrees and 68 degrees, respectively. The average highs are 84 and 78, while the average lows are 65 and 57 (which basically amounts to a 10-degree fluctuation in either direction from the average daily temperatures). You should be able to have a splashin' good time at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach Water Parks without a problem. Even though you'll be visiting in the milder fall season, don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses! The Florida sun is still pretty strong during the daytime hours.

Wishing you a magical vacation, Martha! Please write back with any other questions as you plan your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort - I'd be happy to help!
