We are planning to come to WDW during the holidays and are looking at getting tickets for MVMCP but some of the entertainment is also being performed during non=-party nights from Dec 22-25. Is it worth it to go to the separate ticket event?

    Hi, Garrett!

I absolutely love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The holiday parade is spectacular, the fireworks are incredible, and I truly love the holiday shows.

It is true that you can see some of the same type of holiday special offerings during Christmas week, but the party offers something you will never find that close to Christmas - lower crowds. Because a limited number of tickets are sold for the party, you will have a greater opportunity to enjoy all of the Christmas festivities. There are two parades on party nights, so you can be sure to see that, even if the first one is a bit more crowded. And then there are the holiday treats - usually Christmas themed cookies and beverages - and the beautiful snow on Main Street, U.S.A.

The Magic Kingdom is one of the most magical places on earth for me over Christmas. But in order to stay on Santa's good list, I'm going to tell you that the crowds can be seriously impressive. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will help you to enjoy all that the holidays at the Magic Kingdom have to offer while avoiding some of the heavy holiday crowds.

    Have fun!
