I am planning my for my first cruise ever. I have done a lot of research because I like being hands on. I don't mind booking the cruise myself, but will it be cheaper to book through a travel agent? 6 adults 1 child possibly more. So excited:)

    Hi Kapresious!

Congratulations on embarking on your first voyage at sea!   You sound just like me when I planned my first Disney Cruise many years ago!

Many guests choose to book with a travel agent because they are looking for the best deal available.  Travel agencies usually reserve blocks of rooms for their clients and sometimes will offer a discount such as an onboard credit.  An onboard credit can be used for any of your shipboard purchases during your vacation.   If you are interested in booking with a travel agent, I would recommend contacting several for quotes before making your final decision.  If you are flexible with your sail date, you might be able to save even more money! But, make sure the agency you choose is an "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner."  With that being said, Disney Cruise Line (DCL) also offers specials when you book directly with them.  By calling (800) 951-3532 you can speak with a DCL reservation agent and ask away about any deals on upcoming sail dates.

I know you are going to have a fantastic time not only on your cruise but planning it as well.  I am here to help so please stop by anytime with your questions!
