We are planning to come to the candlelight procession on Dec 9th. We are not staying on disney property. Can I purchase a dining packages for that date starting on Oct 14th? What is a 1 table service vs a 2 table service?

    Hello JoAnn,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting with your question today, in just the nick of time!

EPCOT Candlelight Processional dining packages for 2025 will be going on sale, beginning on Tuesday, October 14 at 6:00 AM ET. Even as a guest staying off the Disney World property, you will be allowed to book up to 60 days in advance of your dining date. So because your December 9th date is inside that 60 day window - yes! You will be able to make your reservation immediately, when those Candlelight Processional dining packages go on sale on October 14. Please note this is a different reservation than a normal advance dining reservation. So be sure to start on the Candlelight Dinner Packages page when you book your reservation.

The handy chart listing participating EPCOT restaurants gives you a nice overview of cost. You won't need to worry about the "1 table service" or "2 table service" column. One of the perks of staying at a Disney Resort is the option to add a Disney Dining package. For any guests using the Dining Plan as payment for the Candlelight Dinner Package, this gives them an idea of how many dining credit entitlements would be used.

One last tip before I go! I always recommend to my friends that they keep an eye on the Disney World Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts page. You never know when a hot deal will come up... to sprinkle a little pixie-dust on your next magical vacation! They have even been known to offer deals like a free Disney Dining Plan along with your purchase of a vacation package, which can be a real money saving option.

JoAnn, I hope this helps and that you are able to log on right away and snag that reservation you are hoping for. Please send me another message at planDisney if I can assist with anything further.

    Have a magical day!
    Tami
