I am planning to take my wife and two daughters (8 & 5) to WDW during Easter week. The Coronado Springs seem to suit our needs best, except it seems to be more of a convention center rather than be tailored to families. Will we feel welcome?

    Hi,

I've stayed at Coronado Springs Resort with my family, my girls were 9 and 11 at the time, and we never felt out of place at all. In fact we felt that CSR being a convention centre was a benefit to us as the pools and buses were much quieter than at non-convention resorts. We would see groups of people walk past us who were obviously there for a convention but it was fine and they were always very friendly. There was even a Gospel group there during our stay who would make us smile with their singing!

I've also stayed their for a convention and my tip to you would be to avoid the restaurants at typical meal times because once the meetings etc let out they would get pretty busy.

Slightly off topic but as you have young children be sure to request a room quite close to the main building as CSR is pretty large!

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
