Hi Moms, I am planning a 3 week vacation to WDW during July 2016. I am wanting to know if it is better to have the resort discount or the free dining for the best savings? It is 2 adults staying at the Coronado Springs and deluxe dining plan. Thank you

Hi, Teresa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Each time we visit Walt Disney World Resort, I sit down and compare all available special offers to find the most magical discount for our trip. Special offers are not guaranteed to be offered at any time, so there is no way we could know at this time what offers will be around next summer during your trip. Well, we could always ask Madame Leota...

Historically, the Free Disney Dining promotion has not been offered in July, which is when you are planning your stay. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is usually included in a room-only special offer that time of year. However, please remember that nothing is guaranteed until you see it materialize. If you do have a reservation at this Resort when a special offer is announced, you can give Disney Reservations a call to have the discount applied to your room, if your Resort is eligible for the offer. There are usually certain stipulations to special offers, excluding some dates, Resorts, or room types within Resorts. You may want to have a couple of Resorts in mind, just in case your preferred Resort is excluded in any special offer announced for next summer.

I hope this helps you with your vacation planning, Teresa!
