Hey there, Darci! Thanks so much for coming to planDisney with your question.
Disney Merriest Nights was recently announced, and the tickets went quickly for both December 7 & 9. With this after-hours event only being offered on five select evenings, it is really no surprise that these dates have sold out.
Since you will be traveling to Disneyland the week of December 6th, I would say it is always worth stopping at a ticket booth and inquiring about tickets for that evening’s event. The best they could say is “yes”, so why not try?
Currently, there is no wait list and no plans to release more tickets for this exclusive event. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Merriest Nights webpage for the most up-to-date information.
I am super excited that you will be visiting Disneyland during my most favorite time of the year! There is something so magical about seeing Sleeping Beauty castle dripping in icicle lights.
There is a new fireworks show, “Believe…in Holiday Magic” arriving to
Disneyland Park for the season, as well as a Christmas Fantasy parade. Be sure to go and wave to my favorite toy soldiers as they march down Main Street, USA. And, do not miss the holiday fun at “it’s a small world” and Haunted Mansion. I promise they are both so much fun!
At Disney California Adventure Park, you can take part in the
Disney Festival of Holidays, a “seasonal celebration filled with multicultural and diverse music, food and fun for all”. There is a Sip and Savor pass available, which will grant you eight tabs to enjoy the treats throughout the festival. As a foodie, I can’t wait to try ALL of the things. Don't miss Mater's Jingle Jamboree for some holiday laughter!
Have a magical visit in December! Please come back to planDisney if you have other questions as you are planning your holiday trip.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
