Hi Alyssa,
What a great time to visit! The fall weather is typically warm but not nearly as humid and the crowds are usually much smaller. Not only will you get to enjoy Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but also the incredible
Food and Wine Festival at Epcot.
Our family loves
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and it has become one of our yearly visits to enjoy this special ticket event. The event is offered on select evenings in the Magic Kingdom from 7pm-12am. Guests are treated to a special parade and firework show of Hallo-Wishes. Most attractions are open and there are a number of special stage shows and meet and greet opportunities throughout the park that are not offered during regular park hours. Guests are encouraged to join in the Halloween fun and come in costume and you are able to trick or treat all around the park.
We love that there are a limited number of tickets available and therefore the crowds are usually quite minimal, making it easier to enjoy all of our favorite attractions with little if any wait. The kids love the fun of collecting a bag full of sweets and one of my favorite things to do is visit with the Disney pals, who are also decked out in the Halloween costumes.
In regards to dates, there have been a few rumors of supposed 2010 party dates, however not all of these have been confirmed by Disney at this time but I can tell you that the parties will begin sometime in early September and continue throughout October. You will definitely be able to choose from a few nights during your vacation. Tickets should goon sale within the next few weeks. Check back at www.allears.net soon for a full list of party nights.
Hope you have a bootiful time!
