Hello Garyn!
Welcome to planDisney! After twelve years of taking between one and three strollers with us to the
Walt Disney World Resort, we are finally stroller free! But I have taken strollers all over Walt Disney World and I am happy to give you a rundown of how it all works!
You can take your stroller on all forms of transportation. But on some forms of transportation, you can keep your child in the stroller and wheel aboard, while on others you’ll need to take the child out and fold your stroller. From Disney’s Pop Century Resort you can take the
Disney Skyliner to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The Disney Skyliner is amazing and while I had my doubts initially, it has quickly become a family favorite. You’ll be happy to hear that you can roll a stroller or wheelchair directly onto the Disney Skyliner! This works great for sleeping littles, plus the ride is a lot of fun.
To get to Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or Disney Springs from Disney’s Pop Century Resort, you will need to take
Disney's bus transportation. Per Florida law, all strollers must be folded up on buses. So for this trip, you’ll need to take the child out of the stroller and fold it up before boarding.
If during your visit you need to take the
Monorail, just like the Disney Skyliner, you’ll be able to wheel the stroller directly onto the Monorail. With
Disney’s water transportation, it will vary depending on the boat. On the Friendship Boats between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot, and the Ferry to Magic Kingdom, children may stay in their strollers. On some of the smaller boats between Magic Kingdom and resorts such as Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you may need to fold the stroller.
I hope I’ve covered all the bases, and that this information is helpful, Garyn. Wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
