I am planning a WDW vacation for May 2014. I will be visiting with my mother, husband, and our 2 girls ages 7 & 4. Which resort would you recommend for us to stay in that will accommodate us in one room? We have stayed at the Contemporary and POFQ.

Hi, Gina!  You'll find that most of the deluxe resorts will accommodate a party of up to five guests.  If you don't mind not having monorail access, I can't recommend highly enough Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The Lodge is one of the most unique hotel experiences you'll find.  If you request a savanna view room, you can literally wake up in the morning to see a giraffe noshing on leaves just a few dozen feet away from your balcony.  There might be a zebra grazing nearby.  It's always so exciting for my children to have those animals there when they wake up.  We usually treat them one morning or one evening to a room service breakfast or dessert so they can just enjoy the animals.

If you want a little bit of moving around space, you might try one of the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation resort.  The suites have sleeping room for up to six people, and you'll find two bathrooms, a separate master bedroom with a second television, and a microwave and small fridge.

Another option may be to look into one of the Disney Vacation Club villas.  These suites, which come in studio, one, two and three bedroom, offer all the amenities of home.  The studios have a small kitchenette, but everything larger features a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, and separate sleeping areas.

I hope this helps with your planning!
