We are planning a WDW trip with two children - 9 yo and 2 1/2 yo daughters. We are looking at 1 bedroom villas at Saratoga springs and old key west resorts. which is more toddler-friendly for activities/transportation? Thanks!

    Howdy Allison!

You have narrowed your choices down to two wonderful Disney Vacation Club Resorts for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Great picks!

This is a tough question because I adore both Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney's Old Key West Resort and, in many ways, they offer similar amenities. They both deliver spacious accommodations in a peaceful, relaxing setting. Coming "Home" to your 1-Bedroom oasis at either Resort after a thrilling day conquering the theme parks, water parks, golf courses, and more will surely put you at ease.

I have to give Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa the advantage, but only ever-so-slightly. With five (yes, 5!) separate pool areas, you are never too many steps away from a relaxing afternoon break. Both The Paddock Pool and High Rock Springs Pool offer zero-depth entry, a kids water play area, exciting slides, and a quick service restaurant. There is something for everyone.

At either Resort, be sure to stop by Community Hall for arts & crafts, board games, outdoor equipment rentals, video games, and DVD rentals. Our daughters consider a visit to the nearest Disney Vacation Club Resort Community Hall to be a must for every vacation. I think yours might as well.

I hope that helps. Allison! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
