We are planning on a WDW trip in Sept 2013. I'm traveling with my DW, DD, DS, and my parents. we wil be using the DDP, will we be able to make seperate dining reservations than my parents on the same day & time or do we have to eat together?

Hi Gary! What fun family memories you're going to make! Just because you're traveling with your parents doesn't mean you'll be forced to do everything together with them. The Disney Dining Plan is totally flexible, and each person may use their meal credits as they wish. Your party's meal credits are loaded onto your Key to the World cards, and any member of the party can use them at any time by presenting his or her card.

On the new Disney website, you can make dining reservations and designate the members of your party who'll be present at a particular restaurant. However, in order to prevent guests from booking reservations at multiple restaurants at the same time, the website will not allow you to book two conflicting reservations. For this reason, your parents may need to make their separate dining reservations under a different account from yours, or you may need to call to 407-WDW-DINE to make your dining reservations.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
