We are planning on a WDW trip 12-6 - 12-10. The plan is 6/downtown dis, 7/Epcot, 8/MK, 9/DHS, We are thinking the yacht club may be our best option based on proximity to Epcot and DHS. Do you have any thoughts, as to our plan? Kids girls 5 - 6.5 THanks!

    Hi Bob,

I think the Yacht & Beach Club are a great choice of resorts for your family. I love its location because you can walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios or jump on a Friendship boat as well. We often stayed at the Boardwalk across the lagoon because we could keep our daughters in the stroller after a long day of touring and not worry about holding a tired child and a stroller.

The Yacht Club also has one of the best pools on the property called Stormalong Bay that is a mini water park. The slide is off a pirate ship and there is even a hidden treasure in one section.

If you have time, head to the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop for a Kitchen Sink.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Beth
