Hi! We are planning to be in WDW next November, the week before Thanksgiving... we wanted to head over to the Vero Beach resort after our disney trip (11/26-29) - over Thanksgiving. I am not seeing ANY availability- is it possible its all booked already?

    Hi there, Katie!

It's such an awesome idea to end your Walt Disney World vacation with a trip to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. After the whirlwind of theme parks, Vero Beach is such a peaceful, relaxing way to wrap it up and head into the bustling holiday season.

I want to make sure I'm helping you with the right month. If you are talking about November of 2018, there's a very good possibility that the resort is indeed sold out for the type of accommodation you need. When I do a quick search myself for this November, I only see a deluxe studio room available for the weekend after Thanksgiving.

If you are planning your visit for November 2019, which is what I'm thinking, you are not yet within the booking window for Disney Vacation Club members, so you may not be able to see availability. If you are a DVC member at Vero Beach, you can book 11 months in advance, so not until December of 2018. If you do not own at Vero Beach, the booking window is 7 months in advance, so those reservations can be made beginning in April of 2019.

Don't forget to grab a list of scheduled activities from the front desk when you arrive. Even as you are relaxing at the beach, there are so many great things planned at this resort, the only time there is nothing to do is when you want there to be.

Have an amazing time planning this magical vacation.
