Hi, I am planning on going to WDW Magic Kingdom. I am taking a 5yr old and a 2yr old. As you know, they often get tired and cranky i the middle of the afternoon, is it possible to leave and still come back that same day? Thanks

    Hi there Melinda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're glad you're here! Your little Mouseketeers are going to love visiting Magic Kingdom Park! I am happy to report that guests that have purchased a Magic Your Way Base Ticket are more than welcome to leave a park and reenter that same park on the same day. You do not have to add the park hopper option in order to leave and reenter Magic Kingdom Park on the same day. In fact, my family always left the park to go back to our resort for a much needed midday break/nap when my children were younger. I have always found that the children were able to enjoy the evening activities more when we took a nap in the afternoon. Be sure to pick up a Park Map and Times Guide when entering Magic Kingdom Park for easier park touring and up to date Character Greeting, Show, Dining and Attraction times. I would recommend starting your day in Fantasyland and then touring the park by "lands," which will help maximize your time and decrease any unnecessary walking. I hope this information is helpful! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Melinda!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
