Planning WDW for Jan. Staying 8 days w/ DDP. Haven't been since 2010 and wondering if there is any new restaurants on the plan or which ones you recommend most for DD's 2,6,9. Planning a few character meals but not all have to be.

    Hi Kris!

There are a few new restaurant additions since 2010, including:

Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom - You can enjoy a delicious appetizer platter of meat, pickles and a toasted baguette, which is delish. Their salmon is yummy! You can also try the "grey stuff" for dessert. The atmosphere is amazing. You can even meet the Beast after you eat.

Via Napoli in Epcot - This isn't character dining, but the pizza is delish!

Also, not a new restaurant, but new to the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) in 2012 include Bistro de Paris in Epcot, Paradiso 37 in Downtown Disney and Tortuga Tavern at Magic Kingdom.

As far as character dining is concerned, consider making ADRs at classic favorites, including Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table and Crystal Palace.

You can call 407-WDW-DINE to book 180 days in advance.

    Magically,
    Stacy
